reddotDoes your child need help with reading, writing and/or math?
reddotDoes your child need a quiet place to do homework after school?
reddotDoes your child need access to a computer?
reddotAre you tired of fighting the homework battle?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Homework Club can help.

The Homework Club is available to children from Grade 1 to 8, in French and English.

We have adaptive technology available for those with learning disabilities.

The Homework Club offers:

reddotOne to one tutoring help for children who need additonal help with school work.
reddotTwo drop in sessions for children who need occassional help with their homework.

One to one sessions:

Registration for this program is required.Drop in sessions are held:

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 4-6 p.m.
Place: Timmins Learning Centre, 208 Third Avenue, 2nd Floor.


The Homework Club is led by a group of supportive and dedicated staff and volunteer tutors. If you would like to register your child or become a volunteer tutor, please contact:

Private and community donations provide support for the Homework Club. Due to a reduction in funding, there is now an annual $50.00 registration fee for each child participating in the drop-in and one to one programs.
